摘要(Abstract)：

以光学和数字图像处理为主要技术途径、通过对湘东南区彬耒煤田的卫片地质解译和地质资料的综合研究,圈定了本区白垩系红层下7个可供探寻龙潭煤系的重点靶区,为省近年来普查找煤及“八五”规划提供了信息和依据,并初步收到了较好的找煤效果。
Seven major target zones with potential coal measures underneath Cretaceous red layer were located by optical and digital image processing and through a comprehensive study on geological interpretation of satllite images and geological data from Binlai coal field in Southert Hunan province. The study provided basis and information for coal reconnaissance in the province during the Eight "Five—Year Plan", and showed good results for premary coal investigation.
